Terms of Service

Applies to the Servix customer app, the Servix captain app and servix.inwora.com.
Last updated: 9 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Servix platform, including the customer app, the captain app and our website. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Servix.

Important: Servix arranges and coordinates work carried out by independent professionals we call captains. Captains are not employees of Servix. Servix collects payment for a job and releases it to the captain once you have verified completion, but the work itself is performed by the captain.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • Registration details must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for your password and MPIN, and for activity under your account.
  • You may not hold multiple accounts to evade ratings, suspensions or fees.
  • Tell us immediately at supportservix@inwora.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. What Servix is

Servix operates a managed marketplace. You describe a job; we review it and assign a captain we have verified. The captain performs the work as an independent contractor.

  • Captains are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Servix.
  • Servix does not guarantee a captain will be available for every job, category or area.
  • Any licence, registration, insurance or tax obligation relating to the work is the captain's responsibility.
  • Servix may reassign or cancel a job where a captain becomes unavailable or fails to meet our standards.

3. How a job works

  1. The customer posts a job with its category, location and description.
  2. Servix reviews the job and assigns a verified captain. All messaging about the job runs between each party and the Servix team; the apps provide no direct customer-to-captain chat.
  3. The captain marks the job started, carries out the work, and marks it finished.
  4. The customer pays the job amount to Servix, which holds it.
  5. The captain raises a one-time verification code and the customer reads out the code shown in their app.
  6. Once the code is verified the job closes and the amount is credited to the captain's Servix wallet.
  7. The customer may leave a rating and written review.

4. Payment, wallet and withdrawals

  • The job amount is payable to Servix, not to the captain directly, unless the job is settled in cash by agreement.
  • Servix holds the amount between completion and verification. The captain's wallet is credited only after the one-time code is verified.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay; your use of that gateway is subject to Razorpay's own terms.
  • Captains may withdraw wallet funds to a verified UPI ID once the balance reaches the minimum withdrawal amount. Requests are reviewed before release and may be rejected with a reason where verification fails or fraud is suspected.
  • Where a customer pays a captain in cash, the captain must settle Servix's share through the app.
  • Subscription plans, where taken, are billed through Razorpay and renew as described at the point of purchase.
  • You are responsible for taxes arising from your use of the platform.

5. Customer obligations

  • Describe the job accurately, including anything affecting safety, access or cost.
  • Provide safe access at the agreed time and treat your captain with respect.
  • Share your one-time verification code only when the work has genuinely been completed.
  • Do not withhold the code to obtain work you have accepted without paying for it.
  • Do not use the platform to obtain a captain's contact details and then arrange work outside Servix to avoid platform fees.

6. Captain obligations

  • Hold all licences, qualifications and insurance the law requires for the services you offer.
  • Keep profile information accurate, and complete verification honestly.
  • Accept only work you are competent and legally permitted to perform.
  • Carry out assigned jobs to a professional standard, and tell the Servix team promptly if anything changes.
  • Route all communication about a job through the Servix team rather than contacting the customer directly outside the platform.
  • Never request or enter a verification code without the customer freely providing it, and never pressure a customer to release one.
  • Settle cash-paid jobs promptly and accurately.
  • Comply with all applicable health, safety and consumer protection laws.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the platform for anything unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, discriminatory or abusive.
  • Post false or misleading jobs, profiles or verification material.
  • Upload content infringing another person's intellectual property or privacy.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access.
  • Probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the platform, its APIs or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer the apps, except where the law expressly permits it.
  • Circumvent verification codes, wallet controls, ratings or suspensions.

8. Content, ratings and reviews

  • You keep ownership of content you upload, and grant Servix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it in order to operate and promote the platform.
  • You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the rights to post it.
  • Ratings must reflect a genuine experience. Fake, incentivised or retaliatory reviews are prohibited.
  • We may remove content that breaches these Terms or the law.

9. Cancellations, disputes and refunds

  • A job may be cancelled before work begins; cancel in the app so the other side is informed.
  • If work is not completed, or not completed acceptably, do not share the verification code — contact us instead.
  • Because Servix holds the job amount until verification, we can review a disputed job before releasing funds, and may refund the customer or release payment to the captain based on the evidence both sides provide.
  • Raise a dispute at supportservix@inwora.com or on WhatsApp with the job details and a description of the problem.

10. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using Servix at any time and delete your account from the deletion page.
  • We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, creates risk or legal exposure, or engages in fraud or abuse.
  • Where reasonable and lawful we will give notice and a chance to respond first.
  • Undisputed wallet balances remain payable to a captain on termination, subject to verification and any lawful set-off.
  • Sections 11 to 14 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Servix disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, and while we verify captains before assigning work, we do not guarantee the outcome, timing or quality of any particular job.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Servix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Servix in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Servix and its officers, employees and agents against any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or any dispute between you and another user.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights available where you live.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes are notified in the app or by email before taking effect. Continuing to use Servix after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
